Positive Behaviour for Learning

 

Our behaviour management and school-wide reward system is based around Positive Behaviour For Learning. Tamariki earn Values Cards for demonstrating our school values. As the school reaches certain targets they receive a whole-school reward (examples: 30 minutes choosing time, Fun Sports Day, dress up day, afternoon disco, “Treasure Hunt”). Each ter, up to 3 tamariki from each room receive “He Pene i a Kupe” awards for demonstrating one or more of our values consistently throughout the term.
