Our Values

We have 5 different school values - developed in consultation with our whānau and local iwi Te Ātiawa

Our values are: 

• Te Mōhiotanga - engaged, goal setter, curious about the world around me
• Manaakitanga - kind and empathetic
• Rangatiratanga - leadership and decision making
• Te Tautuhi - resilient and risk taking
• Mōtuhake - independent, thoughtful and organised

We unpack each value over a 2 week period, and tie this into our Positive Behaviour for Learning programme. 

We are currently in the process of designing visuals to sit alongside our values. 

We are currently in the process of constructing a short sentence to sit alongside each value to teach it's meaning.
