My name is Katrina and I am thrilled to be in the position of the Pastoral Care Worker at Picton School. This is a wonderful and supportive role where I get to connect with both tamariki and their whanau.
After purchasing a home in Picton in 2016, I made a permanent move here in 2025 when I began working at Picton School.
I lived in Hakatere Ashburton for all my life, and still have whanau living there so take many trips back.
I have a background of 20 plus years working with community support agencies and have been fortunate to work with amazing and passionate people throughout my journey.
I enjoy travelling and have been lucky to see many incredible places, meeting interesting and extraordinary people along the way. I enjoy spending time with my whanau, in my gardening, tramping, and I love to cook.
