Picton at the head of the Queen Charlotte Sounds
is the commercial centre for almost all the activity
in the wonderful Marlborough Sounds. Small and
friendly Picton offers both its residents and
visitors a beautiful place to relax with cafes,The
Marlborough Aquarium, an old trading scow, the
Echo and the Edwin Fox Museum to name but a few.
