Enviroschool

Picton School is an Enviroschool. We believe it is important for all tamariki to become  kaitiaki (guardians) of our environment to ensure that it is sustained for future generations to enjoy.

We aim to help foster a generation of people who instinctively think and act sustainably.

Our latest initiative is to create an entranceway to our school that resembles an ecological building. Students have been involved in the design process as well as background knowledge and research of an ecological building.
